Available today on Steam, Epic Games Store, Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch 1/2, and Mobile.   And there's even more to sink your teeth into: Legacy of the Bloodmoon will launch for just £0.99 / $0.99 / EUR0,99 / YEN 0.99. Additionally, the 2022 expansion, Legacy of the Moonspell has received a permanent price reduction to £0.99 / $0.99 / EUR0,99 / YEN 0.99, giving players even more fang for their buck.   What began as a content update for Legacy of the Moonspell quickly developed an appetite for something much bigger. The team's thirst for more simply couldn't be satisfied, giving rise to an all new expansion: Legacy of the Bloodmoon.   The expansion sees players accompany Malice Bloodmoon on her journey to discover the true history of Clan Bloodmoon, dark reflections who harness the malign might of the New Moon. Recruiting legendary members of the Clan, players will navigate the Glade of Woe and the Manor of Perdition in the search for answers. The expansion will also introduce an all new stage, Red Moon Manor.    Legacy of the Bloodmoon introduces:   10+ new playable characters 16+ new weapons and evolutions 1 new very large stage 1 new adventure 11 all-new music tracks.   New Playable Characters     10+ new playable characters, including:    Malice Bloodmoon - The Ruthless Matron: The ruthless current ruler of Clan Bloodmoon pursues personal power and immortality at any cost. Plunging herself and her minions into perilous hunts through the malign history of her ancestors, she has so far only found that most of the 665 previous Bloodmoon Clan leaders met horribly bloody ends. Calogero Bloodmoon - The Heinous Beast: A depraved, beastly barbarian who seeks immortality only so that he can enjoy the thrill of killing others for eternity.  Ashtart - The Timeworn Maleficist: A fossilised, soul-bartered horror who seeks to corrupt others only so that they can share in her eternal, decaying misery. Sargon - The “King” of the Universe: Seeking immortality through the stars themselves, Sargon is far from mortal, suffused with an eldritch power that threatens to rip his enemies - and what little remains of him - from reality. Baal’Thasar - The Sinister Saint: A fanatical, blood-drunk prophet who seeks eternal life only so that he can lead his cult in a never-ending ritual of slaughter under a red moon.   New Weapons and Evolutions      16+ new weapons across base forms and evolutions, including:    Scarlet Needle: Malice's favourite attack. Enemies are impaled by needles that inflict paralyzing pain.  Incineration: Why deal damage when you can erase a whole bunch of enemies from existence with a single flick of the hand?  Blacken Firmament: An ominous celestial body darkens the heavens and starts tearing reality apart.  FireBall: Yep, peak originality: a weapon called fire ball will now be in Vampire Survivors. To not be confused with FireFall, FireWall, or their union: FireStall.   New Stage     Red Moon Manor Stage: The ancient lair of the Order of the Red Moon. The myth says that Baal'Thasar had built it as a fortress to conceal the secret of immortality. But Malice and Calogero discovered that the manor does indeed exist. What is it truly hiding?  

Legacy of the Moonspell Content Update

Legacy of the Moonspell will also be updated with 7 new unlocks, that will deliver:

4 new weapons: LunarMight, LunarSight, LunarBight, and LunarFlight

1 Special Evolution: Argent Flow

1 new passive Weapon: Pearl Magatama

4 new characters

1 new music track

Poncle Reveals New Vampire Survivors Content, Expansion Pack, ‘Survivaton’ Lineup, and Japan Studio

London, United Kingdom - 6 June 2026 - Indie studio poncle today announced a new chapter for its award-winning hit Vampire Survivors and beyond, headlined by Legacy of the Bloodmoon, the game's next expansion arriving this summer. 

Alongside the reveal, the studio introduced Survivaton, a new label for its growing lineup of Survivors-inspired projects, released a free content update for Vampire Survivors, and announced a new Japan studio to be led by acclaimed game creator Sawaki Takeyasu (Devil May Cry). The announcements follow a breakout year for poncle, including the April launch of Vampire Crawlers, the studio's second original release, which surpassed 1 million players in its first week.

Survivaton & Vampire Survivors - First Survivaton

Survivaton is the name of poncle's new lineup of Survivors-like projects. Short for "survive a ton," the label encompasses internally developed games that build on the foundation of the studio's flagship title, Vampire Survivors, in collaboration with selected content partners. Each project will aim to introduce major gameplay changes, content expansions, or genre twists exploring ideas substantial enough to stand as their own games.

The Survivaton initiative will serve as poncle's umbrella for future survivors-like releases, and reflecting its place as the foundation of the series, Vampire Survivors will also be renamed to Vampire Survivors - First Survivaton.  

To celebrate this new chapter, the game is releasing its free Patch 1.15 update on Steam today, featuring a new stage, new characters, new weapons, and new Darkanas. Patch 1.15 will be released on all other platforms a bit later, by the end of the month, due to platform-specific optimizations and differences in save slots management. On the bright side, we will also be releasing a Nintendo Switch 2 version, with better performance and mouse support!

Vampire Survivors: Legacy of the Bloodmoon Expansion Pack 

Off the heels of its name change, Vampire Survivors - First Survivaton will also be getting a long-awaited expansion pack, Legacy of the Bloodmoon. The “evil twin” to the game’s first-ever expansion pack Legacy of the Moonspell and expected this summer across PC, Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, and mobile platforms, Legacy of the Bloodmoon will include a substantial 10 new characters, more than 16 weapons and evolutions, a new XL stage, and 8 new music tracks. As part of this release, poncle will expand Legacy of the Moonspell with additional content and permanently reduce its price, ensuring both it and Legacy of the Bloodmoon deliver a similarly substantial experience. 

Poncle Japan

To further support its growing global ambitions, poncle is establishing poncle Japan, a dedicated Japanese subsidiary focused on deepening the studio's presence in one of the world's most important gaming markets.

Headed by Sawaki Takeyasu, poncle Japan will oversee local development initiatives and strategic partnerships across the region. The team will serve as a bridge between poncle's global operations and Japanese players, creators, and industry partners, ensuring the studio's games and initiatives resonate with local audiences while helping identify new opportunities for growth and collaboration.
