SUPER ROBOT WARS Y, the tactical turn-based combat game featuring an all-star cast of mechs and pilots enters the celebration of the series’ 35^th anniversary with a free update and a new DLC, bringing new units and even more action to players.

The free update adds two new commemorative missions, one celebrating 20 million copies sold across the Super Robot Wars series and the other its 35th anniversary. Both missions can be unlocked by achieving specific conditions within CHAPTER 2. Meanwhile, pilot level caps have been raised to 200 and a new game mode “BOOST” has been introduced. This mode rewards players with double Experience, Credit and MXP, while lowering costs of aircraft modification & pilot training to quicken character progression.

Releasing today, the DLC “Anniversary Expansion Pack” further expands the experience with 33 new Area Missions and a bonus mission: “Anniversary Expansion Purchase mission”. The DLC also brings five new playable units, one new Assist Crew Member, and 12 new weapons that can be equipped by all units.

In the looming calamity of inevitable ruin, SUPER ROBOT WARS Y challenges the Guardians of Steel to rise and conquer fate. The lauded series combines an all-star mecha cast, action-packed attack animations, and an upgrade system to customize various units and pilots. The game also features a deep and engaging original story that weaves together universes from a variety of mecha anime. In a battle to determine the world’s future, players strategically command an army on a grid-based battlefield, utilizing their arsenal of weapons and abilities to defeat the opposing army.
