Level 0, The Backrooms – 8 October 2026: Surprise! Escape the Backrooms, the viral co-op horror sensation published by the award-winning studio Secret Mode, is adding three new levels this December.

As teased at the triple-i Showcase, the After Party will bring a celebratory vibe to your escape, with two additional levels also in the works alongside new skins to dress up in. Jump in, have some cake, and then run screaming from the entities that dwell within the Backrooms.

And that's not all! Coming in October is a selection of free and paid cosmetics, so you can get started looking snazzy. Ever wanted to scare your friends by dressing up as an entity? Your wish may soon be granted.

Escape the Backrooms has now been experienced by over 12 million players willing to lay down life and limb to explore its twisting labyrinths. Stay tuned for more information on the upcoming updates and beyond...
