New Lords of the Fallen II Trailer Revealed at Summer Game Fest Confirms Simultaneous Launch on Steam Alongside Other Platforms in Fall of this Year

CI Games Setting Same-Day Launch on PC and Consoles for Soulslike Action-RPG

LOS ANGELES – June 5, 2026 – Independent developer CI Games debuted a brand-new trailer - titled ‘The Battle for Thorngar’ - for Lords of the Fallen II  during Summer Game Fest. It lifts the veil further on the game’s intense combat and expansive dark fantasy world, while also confirming the highly-anticipated soulslike action-RPG will launch simultaneously on PC via Steam and Epic Games Store, as well as the PlayStation®5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles in fall 2026.

One of the newly revealed locations is Ysiguen, a sprawling biome partly inspired by Asian mythology, sporting grand pagoda towers twisted by demonic forces, horned courtesans, and defended by Lingao the Souring Storm - a towering, lightning-infused dragon.

Arriving hand in hand with the new region, the trailer also revealed the brand new katana-based weapon class, delivering one of the community’s most popular requests alongside the previously confirmed addition of scythes. Players also got an expanded look at the new roster of NPCs aiding the player in their crusade against evil, as well as the Lords of Darkness that will undoubtedly stand in their way.

CI Games is aiming to deliver a “bolder, braver, and bloodier” evolution of its flagship franchise with Lords of the Fallen II, building directly upon extensive community feedback from the 2023 title and the lessons learned through more than 70 post-launch updates. The sequel pushes the series further into its signature aggressive combat style with a substantially improved combat system designed to feel faster, more responsive, and more satisfying than ever before, with brutal executions, expanded combat abilities and visceral dismemberments.

Lords of the Fallen II will also feature a richer and more varied world, a significantly expanded enemy roster with biome-specific factions, more dynamic boss encounters, shared-progression co-op available at launch and a more immersive Umbral realm.

As of March 2026, Lords of the Fallen (2023) has sold over 2.5 million copies to date. To celebrate, CI Games is giving all Lords of the Fallen (2023) players the original “Precious Metals Armour Tincts” DLC that was originally only available as a pre-order bonus, allowing players to recolor their ensemble for added customization. Additionally, both Standard and Deluxe editions of the title are currently on sale on Steam, Epic Games Store, PlayStation®5 (Deluxe Edition only) and Xbox Series X|S for up to 75% off. For specific sale details, refer to the official store pages.

Lords of the Fallen II is now available to Wishlist on PC via Steam and Epic Games Store, PlayStation®5 and Xbox Series X|S. Developed by CI Games, the game will be supported by PLAION for global physical distribution and retail sales. The game is not yet rated but has an anticipated Mature 17+ (M) rating by the ESRB and a provisional rating of PEGI 18 by PEGI.

Glory On Pluto and Dupery: A Game Of Solo Deduction receive substantial new demo updatesahead of Steam Next Fest

June 5th 2026, Bristol, UK

Yogscast Games has today announced that major new demos for both Glory On Pluto and Dupery: A Game of Solo Deduction will be available during the imminent Steam Next Fest – though eager players can check them out right now.

While both games have previously offered players a taste of what lies ahead, these significantly expanded and overhauled demos showcase just how far development has progressed, introducing new features, content, mechanics and systems which give players a much deeper look at two brilliantly inventive upcoming releases.

Glory On Pluto continues its mission to answer an important question: how many carrots, acorns and anvils would it take to get to Pluto?Players can find out themselves by building fuel synergies, hiring crew, upgrading their ship and managing an unstable engine in hopes of bringing prestige back to a fallen humanity.

The expanded demo offers players greater access to the game's wonderfully chaotic engine-building systems. Players construct circular engines from fuels, crew and modifiers, creating intricate chains of interactions that constantly evolve as the engine rotates after every boost. Careful planning is encouraged, but glorious accidents often prove just as effective.

Check out chaos and carrots in this demo video featuring a pulsing 8-bit soundtrack, arriving fresh from a time when there weren't 40 games released every week:

Meanwhile, Dupery: A Game of Solo Deduction takes the tension and satisfaction of social deduction games into a thrilling single-player experience. Players investigate procedurally-generated cases, interrogate suspects, identify contradictions and gradually uncover the hidden structure of a criminal syndicate where not everyone is telling the truth.

The updated demo expands the investigation experience considerably, allowing aspiring detectives to tackle more complex cases while experimenting with the game's unique blend of logical deduction, role identification and risk-reward decision making. Every clue matters, every statement could be a lie, and every incorrect accusation carries consequences.

Here's the latest trailer for Dupery: A Game of Solo Deduction, with a melting noir soundtrack that soothes and moves you like a warm blanket:

"Steam Next Fest is all about discovering games that feel genuinely different," says Simon Byron, Managing Director of Yogscast Games. "We've got one game that makes players feel like detective geniuses and another that encourages them to strap increasingly questionable components to a rocket and hope for the best. They're very different experiences, but both have that wonderful quality where players immediately start telling stories about what happened during their runs. I know there are too many demos in Next Fest. But these are two that are genuinely worth your attention."

The new demos for Dupery: A Game of Solo Deduction and Glory On Pluto are available now ahead of Steam Next Fest running June 15th – 22nd.
